Diabetes is a serious disease that affects the body’s ability to produce or respond properly to insulin, a hormone that allows blood glucose to enter the cells of the body and be used for energy.  Recent estimates project that as many as 1 in 3 American adults will have diabetes by 2050, unless we take steps to Stop Diabetes.

The American Diabetes Association is leading the fight to Stop Diabetes and its deadly consequences and fighting for those affected by diabetes. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; provides objective and credible information; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. Founded in 1940, our mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. 1. Dear Prof Henry
I am a senior Endocrinologist from India heading a specialized Private Clinic with departments of Nutrition, Education/counselling, Diabetes and Obesity and have presented papers as Speaker and Faculty in many International conferences.
Obesity is no more a problem of only developed world, even developing world is facing the epidemic and failing to check it. The only approved drug, Orlistat is very costly and unaffordable by most patients as it has to be taken for an indefinite period. In search of an affordable solution, I am working on using Calcium for weight reduction and found spectacular results.
My main focus is on discovering an affordable solution for weight management and have worked amply on Role of Calcium in weight reduction. Very sparingly Calcium has been used for this purpose.
In 2011 I presented 2 papers on Role of calcium in weight management:-
    1. CREW (Calcium Reduces Weight) study, presented in ADA
    2. CARE WASH (CAlcium REduces Weight, Adiposity, Sugar and Hypertension) study, presented in IDF
I Want to present on Role of Calcium for weight reduction as Faculty Speaker in your conference
